S.C. ARGO-ROM PLASTICS S.A. manufactures and markets plastic bottles and closures for the pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, chemicals, agrochemicals and food industries. Based on the know-how and experience of the holding company ARGO S.A. and on the appropriately trained stuff, ARGO-ROM PLASTICS offers a wide range of plastics packaging solutions.
Short history of the companys activity: 1996 the company was set up as a local subsidiary of ARGO SA in Greece. Constituted as a local production unit for packaging bottles and closures - for the pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, chemicals, agrochemicals and food industries the company has been equipped to process the following types of raw materials: PE, PP, PVC, PS. In order to gain knowledge of the notions related to specific work specifications and procedures the stuff has been trained at the ARGO SA headquarters in Greece. 1997 first authorization granted by the Medicines National Agency for the production unit and approval of the quality of products intended for the pharmaceuticals industry. 1997-2002 ongoing process of stuff training, gradual assimilation of ISO 9001 system requirements 1998 development of a PP bottles range for injecting solutions of veterinary use 2001 overrun of the threshold of 22 million units of products packages one (1) package / Romanian inhabitant 2002 massive investments in improvements of the location where the company activity is carried out, initial implementation of ISO 9001:2000 as complete quality management system, development of the production capacity by purchase of new equipment. 2003- As a results uf our efforts in quality field, from June 2003 Argo-Rom Plastics SA obtained the certification according ISO 9001:2000 of quality management system from BVQI. The company owns production and storing facilities over a surface of 2500sqm, located in the central area of Bucharest. The entire production flow is organized according to the principle of maximum efficiency, complying at the same time, with the GMP requirements.

Starting from 2002, Argo-Rom Plastics SA has its own testing laboratory where tests are carried out to determine the physical and chemical characteristics of the raw materials used and of the products offered.
